About Sambo Setups

Sambo Setups was created to help sim racers of all levels extract more performance, confidence and consistency from their cars in iRacing.

Founded by Sam Brooks and Gianni Lutzu, the brand has grown organically out of years spent competing in sim racing, building a dedicated YouTube channel, and working directly with the iRacing community to improve performance through better setups, clearer driving advice and practical, real-world testing. They had and still have one goal, to produce the best iRacing setups for the community and become known as the best iRacing setup shop on the planet.

Sambo is known for his analytical approach to sim racing, his attention to detail and his ability to break down complex concepts into simple, actionable improvements. What started as personal experimentation quickly turned into helping other drivers, and Sambo Setups was born from that demand.

To ensure the highest quality, Sam works alongside Gianni Lutzu, a highly experienced driver and rated as one of the top ten drivers on iRacing by iRating. He's not only a talented driver and superb coach but a well-known setup specialist with extensive knowledge of car behaviour, balance and performance optimisation in iRacing. Together, they focus on producing setups that are:
