How to install a setup

Ok so you have purchased and downloaded your first setup file, now what?

Step 1

Find your iRacing setup folder

By default this will be in your Documents -> iRacing -> setups

Step 2

Drag the zipped file into the correct car folder

For example a 'Porsche Cup 992.2' setup goes into the iRacing setup folder named porsche9922cup

Step 3

Unzip the file

Right click on the file and select "Extract All' - there is no password so windows (or any other operating system) can do this without the need for third party software.

Step 4

Now they are visible

Now they are showing visibly within the correct folder, you will be able to select them within the "Garage" once in an iRacing session for the particular car.

Step 5

Load it up - go set your PB time, win - become a YouTuber - earn pennies a day.

Now you're in an iRacing session away you go. Just go to "Garage" then hit "My Setups" and select the right one for your session (Qualy/Race/Wet/Endurance etc)
